Cuts & shape
Precision cuts for every texture and length — trims that grow out gracefully, and shape-changing chops when you want a new chapter. We book by the hair, not by the clock.
Signature serviceLOUCEELOU is a small, women-owned salon on Donlands Avenue — where colour, cut, and conversation happen without pretense, and everyone gets a seat.
A full-service salon on a first-name basis. Every visit starts with a real conversation — what you love, what you don’t, and how your hair actually lives day to day. Call to book; we’ll match you with the right time and stylist.

Signature serviceSingle-process, gloss, root touch-ups, and the delicate work of pulling a colour back to something you actually love. We over-plan the appointment so nothing gets rushed.
Consultation firstHand-painted lightness that grows out soft, not stripey. Placed to flatter your face, not a photo you saved last Tuesday.
Hand paintedWash, dry, style — for a wedding, a first date, or a Friday because you deserve it. Bring inspiration or leave it to us.
Any occasionBond-repair, hydrating masks, scalp resets. When your hair’s been through it, this is the appointment that quietly puts things back.
Repair & rebuildTrial appointments, an unhurried day-of, and a plan that survives the weather. We keep it simple: your day, no drama.
By appointmentNot sure which service is right? Call 416-425-9927 — a real person picks up, and we can talk through what you’re after before you book.
We opened LOUCEELOU as a neighbourhood salon in the truest sense — a place where anyone in East York can sit down, be heard, and leave with hair they actually feel like themselves in.
LOUCEELOU is women-owned, LGBTQ+ friendly, a transgender safe space, and gentle enough for kids’ first haircuts. That isn’t a marketing note — it’s how the room is set up, day in and out. Gender-neutral washroom. Wi-Fi if you need to keep working. Something warm to drink while you wait.
Ninety-two Google reviews later, we’re still doing what we opened to do: the small, careful work of listening first and cutting second.
“4.9 out of five, across ninety‑two Google reviews.”
An hour in a salon chair is a lot of hour. We set the room up so the wait is comfortable, the payment is easy, and no one gets stuck at the door.
Keep working if you need to. We won’t look over your shoulder.
Coffee, tea, water. Beverages are on the house while you sit.
Everyone gets to just… go. On-site washroom, kept clean.
Accessible entrance and accessible parking. Come as you are.
Credit, debit, and NFC (Apple Pay & Google Pay).
Whether it’s a first haircut or a school-photo prep, we’re good with the small ones.
Transgender safe space. Come as you are; leave feeling like it.
We reserve the chair for you, so you’re not sharing time with anyone else’s appointment.
We’re a few minutes from Donlands subway station, on the east side of the street. Street parking’s usually easy, and there’s wheelchair-accessible parking on the lot.
We book by the chair, so every visit gets undivided time. Call to schedule — same-day openings sometimes possible.
We keep booking simple. Ring the salon, tell us what you’re after, and we’ll match you with the right time and stylist. No forms, no bots.
